T O P I C R E V I E WmoondreamerOkay something is really happening to me while I am dreaming. Two nights ago, I had the same experience as I have mentioned in my " Has this happened to you" thread.Something like this occured in my dream- my neughbour asked my mother to return one of her dishes that my mother had borrowed. As my mother was getting the dish, she started thowing all her dishes on the floor and smashing them(Like the Greeks do at a wedding,I think it is).My sister joined in and so did I,We were smashing, throwing, stomping on every dish we could break. Also somehow our neighbour came and joined us.Anyway what happened after I woke up from the dream is more peculiar.I woke up and I literally felt as if I had just been smoking weed,I was high as a bird soaring in the sky.I haven't smoked that stuff in weeks ,I hadn't eaten nor drank anything before and I CERTAINLY didn't smoke thta stuff before retiring to bed.Was my energy level low as a result of what I did in the dream so that it needed to be restored and as a result,I was high?WHAT IS GOING ON WITH ME?MDRaHello Moondreamer I would guess that the dream has something to do with leaving the old, and beginning something new. This could be about nurturance issues, or even relationships, and probably in a positive way. Vague I know, but that seems to be the gist of it.The feeling you had when you awakened ... difficult to explain, but I suspect it has to do with your center of consciousness, which in the western world resides in the head (usually). It sounds as if your consciousness was not yet centered or seated where you are used to it being. Some eastern thought says that taking drugs alters the "normal" seat of awareness, thus causing one to feel different ... high. You were not taking drugs, but the altered seat of awareness carries the same feeling. Does that make any sense? I am afraid I did not explain that very well. Osho explains it much better! moondreamerThank you RaIt doesn't really make sense but I am more interested in the after effect of my dream, you know my "high" experience.Any one else?MDpixelpixieI thought it made perfect sense, read it again, moondreamer, from a different perspective...
